Last week on Friday we had a Paihia School Tryathlon. We had to swim, bike and run. We had to walk down to the beach and swim.The boys went first then the girls. After our swim we had to run back school and get our bikes if we brought one, and ride around the field. At the end we got a chocolate protein bar. IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER

Tuesday 7th February

I Remember...

Jumping on a rocking boat.

Being attached to a tight rope of elastic.

It took off in the air like a flying albatross.

Gazing above the air looking at the shiny glossy sea.

The hot sticky sweat sticking on my hot clothes.

Pulled down from a long strip of string.

Dragged down in the freezing ice cold water from a thick string of rope.

lifted back up and pulled back down on the rocking  boat.

That was summer

I was Learning to notice but use the structure used in the exemplar in my piece of  writing. I write about my summer writing.

After writing something that was is happening

For Oral Language we did a bird feeder. We had to design the bird feeder then presented it.  We were in groups for our Oral Language and to make the bird ball with Shirley.

On Monday we went to Athletics in Bledisloe. My favourite one was the Hurdles because I like that you have to jump over and have a race with other schools. The events where Discus, Hurdles 100 and 400 metres, Shot Put, High Jump and long Jump. I had fun because It was an awesome day. The schools that where there was Karetu, Kawakawa, Maromaku, Motatau and Waikare.
